YOUTH & STUDENT INTERGENERATIONAL TRAINING & WORKSHOPS
At Intergenerational Music Making (IMM), we are passionate about nurturing the voices, talents and leadership of children and young people (CYP) as part of our mission to build a more connected and compassionate society. Through our dedicated youth & student Intergenerational training programmes, we equip the next generation of artists, practitioners and changemakers with the tools to lead intergenerational work across health, social care, education, culture and housing sectors.

​We collaborate with a wide range of schools, universities and youth organisations across the UK, delivering high-quality training, mentoring and creative learning opportunities that centre around intergenerational solidarity and creative health.

University Partnerships with leading institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music, BRIT School, ACM, Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM), and University of Manchester, where we deliver lectures, research collaborations, and intergenerational project design.

Mentorship & Work Placements that empower students to gain hands-on experience in delivering intergenerational music and wellbeing programmes within real-world community settings.

Curriculum Development & Training to support the integration of intergenerational thinking within professional development and higher education, influencing future practice across the creative, health, and care sectors.

Youth-Led Delivery through co-designed workshops and projects that centre the voices and ideas of young people working directly with older adults in meaningful, creative ways.
